Ian’s Race Schedule for 2009

By Ian

Happy New Year!!

Since it is a new year, it is time to decide my race schedule for the year! Of course its not totally decided by here are some of the highlights.

01-Feb NYRR Gridiron Classic – A run in NYC AND the first run I’ll be doing together with Chunnie!
08-Feb NYRR Half-Marathon Grand Prix: Bronx – My first real long distance run in cold weather and I’m going out to set a PB!!
22-Feb TriBob Singapore Sprint Series – Aquathlon – I enjoyed the race so much last year, I’m back for the complete set this year!
15-Mar TriBob Singapore Sprint Series – Duathlon – I enjoyed the race so much last year, I’m back for the complete set this year!
19-Apr TriBob Singapore Sprint Series – Triathlon – I enjoyed the race so much last year, I’m back for the complete set this year!
10-May OSIM Singapore International Triathlon – This is going to be a really big race this year, since the ITU has made the event in Singapore a part of the World Championship Series. Also, they’ve moved the bike and run courses to the downtown area.
02-Aug Desaru Half-Ironman Triathlon – A tough non-Ironman branded race but also my first outside the country. Luckily its just a short hop across the water to Johor.

That’s the plan… We’ll see how it all goes!
